We had our pool company check our drain, and they’ve given us an estimate that says we need both a new pool drain cover and something called Vac-Alert. Their estimate is for $860.00 plus tax. Is this a reasonable estimate?

2) Why is the water coming back up through it?

Well, my Whirpool Water Heater 9(electric) stopped working a few days ago… no hot water! I have done all the troubleshooting possible but nothing yet. When I purchased my house the water heater was already here but I do not have anytype of receipt of purchase not even the manuals. I do have serial number, etc because they are noted on the unit. Will Whirpool honor the warranty? what will they cover? should I just call somebody else to fix and not worry about the warranty? (I mean if it is going to be a hassle…) Thank you all!

I opened the box under my hood of my 97 Dodge Stratus. It is the box that says “multipoint fuel injection” on top. It is a 2.4 engine. I stupidly sprayed a lot of starter fluid in what I think was the air intake inside, and it blew the top off and broke it.
