Zoƫ asked:
I’m looking for a hat for my mom for the holidays, and I can’t find what I’m looking for. I want one of the ones that are thick and warm, that have the little ear flaps, and sometimes, the little ties that hang down.
I can’t find a good one anywhere, please help. Also, it would be good to know what they are called.
Don’t be mean.

There is this one huge, very nice house in my neighborhood with these weird covers over all its windows. I call them covers because I have no idea what else to call them.

You cant see any of the window, in each spot where the window should be there is a big solid gray rectangle.
From the street, each one looks like a piece of tough gray fabric stretched over a rectangular frame. One big arced window above the front door has the cover inside it rather than outside however.
I can’t for the life of me figure out what the heck the covers are and why they are there. They’ve been there ever since I moved to this neighborhood a year ago.

Lloyd S asked:
When a band plays another bands dong it’s called a cover.
(e.g. “they did a cover of their song”)
When a DJ plays a track mixed by another DJ it’s called a DUB.
(e.g “he dubbed his track”)

Is this just music business lingo or is their really a difference apart from the genre’s?
