I am making a beef brisket in the oven and after roasting on high heat for an hour uncovered, the recipe says to cover the brisket and reduce the heat and cook for another 3 hours. Will tin foil work OK as a “cover” or should I go out and buy a special roasting pan? Or should I maybe try a glass Pyrex dish? I have covers for that casserole dish. This is for an important work dinner and I really don’t want to mess up the dish. Thanks for the help!

I wrote covered call options which I was assigned. I understand that I should add the premium received to the proceeds from the associated stock sale and report that on Schedule D on the line for the stock itself.

Do I report the option anywhere on the tax form or does the one line for the sale of the stock cover it all? If it does, how does the IRS match up that one line on my tax return with the numbers reported to them by my brokerage firm? All I see on the 1099 is the sale price of the stock itself, not the call option price.

I’m writing something, and would love to know the Thai name for them.
No, I don’t mean a daybed – Pegasus is definitely on the right lines with a sala. The structure I’m talking about sort of mimics a traditional Thai house in terms of the sloping roof, but it’s obviously much smaller – for dining.

Thank you for your ideas so far!
